STHLM Utomhus Yoga + Glassmingel

Vill du vara med på ett medicinskt yogapass utomhus? Ta med din egen matta och var med oss den 22 maj kl. 18.00 vid Humlegården. Om vädret inte tillåter utomhusaktiviteter, kommer vi att äta middag på Pava. Vi börjar eventet med mingel där vi bjuder på glass.

Passet pågår i 60 minuter och leds av Karin Grunditz Melin. Yogan är enkel, kan utföras av alla med på andning, smidighet och rörlighet.

Eventet är öppet för våra medlemmar samt våra kvinnliga volontärer, vilket innebär att detta inte är ett separatistiskt event där alla har multikulturell bakgrund.

Antalet platser är begränsat, först till kvarn! Vi har begränsat med yogamattor att låna ut och kan inte garantera en matta, ange i anmälan ifall att du önskar en matta. Anmäl dig här

Stockholm Board Game Night

Welcome to join us for a fun night of games and puzzles!🃏🎲 We want to arrange a potluck/knytkalas but instead of food, we all contribute with games and puzzles (board games/puzzles that can be finished in less than 2 hours preferably) 🤗 We will bring some games/puzzles but please do help us out, the more the merrier! There will be no food at the event but the bistro is open where one can get drinks and snacks. Let the games begin (soon at least)! 💥

Practical details:

  • The event will take place at The Park, Magnus Ladulåsgatan 1, 118 65 Stockholm.

  • This event is an open event, meaning that there will not only be women who are multicultural, as we will be inviting friends and partners from our different partner networks

  • Spots are limited due to the number of games we get hold of, so please do bring games to increase your chances to secure a spot

Stockholm Multicultural Festival

On November 11th, We Listen In will organize our first Multicultural Festival. A day to celebrate all multicultural people, especially women as that is WLI's focus, but note that the event is public and open to everyone. We organize a day to celebrate our cultural heritage by demonstrating the breadth, power and joy of being multicultural. Our festival will take place between 13.30-19.00 and consists of several different agenda items (workshop, author discussion with BARAKAT GHEBREHAWARIAT, dance with SARA GALAN SALL, quiz, dinner) and is carried out in collaboration with Stockholm Stadsbibliotek and Studiefrämjandet. The festival takes place at Kista Library. Thank you to our sponsors at Ideell Kultur for making this become reality!

Gothenburg Workshop

Gothenburg Workshop

Welcome to join us for our first workshop in Gothenburg, held at our partner ESS-group. Read more about our workshop model.

Preliminary agenda:

Adress start of the evening: Pigalle, Södra Hamngatan 2A, 411 06 Göteborg

18.00 Mingle at Hotell Pigalle with mingle food at Bar Amuse. 200 kronor per/person, to be paid by each participant upon arrival (självkostnadspris). 

19.00 Empowerment Workshop at Hotell Pigalle. We will have an introduction workshop focusing on the structures behind inbetweenship (mellanförskap) and what the different types of stress it can cause (minority-, acculturative and bicultural stress).

21:30 Social event begins, for more information go to the sign up form below.

Cost: Free workshop but please do let us know if you can't make it as we have limited spots. You will need to pay for any food/drinks you order.

Stockholm Social Event: Outdoor Movie Picknick

We will meet up at the Big Crowd Factory outdoor movie picnic in Sthlm Rålambhovsparken. Our picnic will start at 20.00. Bring your own picnic blanket and food, unless you want to buy some food at the food trucks. There will be a free movie screening of the movie "Triangle of Sadness" taking place from 22.30.

You are more than welcome to bring your partner, family, and friends (so the attendees this time do not need to be multicultural women). If you want to join the picnic please email us at event@welistenin.com.
